Jolly Eggnog
We all look forward to the holidays. Some for the presents, some for the jolly spirit, and some (maybe most) for the booze. Spiked Eggnog is a tradition among numerous generations. Although spirits have started creating their own blended versions of spiked eggnog, we promise this homemade recipe is better, stronger, and more homey than the knock-offs.
What You’ll Need:
6 eggs
½ cup sugar
2 cups half and half
¼ cup amaretto
½ cup bourbon
½ cup rum
1 teaspoon nutmeg
How to Prepare:
Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a bowl, wisk together the sugar and yolks until the sugar has dissolved. Wisk in the spirits and half and half. In a separate bowl, whip the egg yolks until they form soft peaks then gently fold into the mix. Sprinkle nutmeg in and refrigerate.
