Great time from start to finish! I wanted to do a wine tour for my sister’s bachelorette party, but I didn’t want to trek all the way up to Temecula in August. La Jolla Wine Tours offered a perfect in between I could tell from the first phone call! We were picked up promptly by Rob who was very accommodating and offered us a history of San Diego itself and of Southern California wine country. He made it interesting and was informative without dragging on. Our first stop offered wine pairing of certain cheeses, fruits and chocolates while teaching us about wine pairing with meals with plenty of gift shops and scenery. Our second stop was a family run isolated vineyard in the mountains with an intimate setting and beautiful farmhouse, which was so drastically different then the first commercialized vineyard it made you feel like you’re part of the family. We were even taught about how the wine is made and were able to see the machines in action. Our final stop was on a mountain overlooking a valley that had me feeling like we were in Tuscany while eating fire roasted pizza. Couldn’t have chosen a better tour! We got a taste of very different vineyards, a little history and a lot of fun! Thanks for making my sister’s bachelorette such an unforgettable experience! Can’t wait to try the train tour!
